Dr. Kristianne Macaraeg is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She was born and raised in Virginia Beach and earned her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies). After college, she moved to Philadelphia and earned her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with Honors in Community Health and Clinical Dentistry.
Dr. Kristianne continued on to complete specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where she gained a lot of experience treating medically complex cases and children with special health care needs including hospital dentistry. During residency, she took a special interest in finding better ways to treat children with autism spectrum disorders in the dental office.
Dr. Kristianne met her husband in dental school and they recently welcomed their first daughter, Noelle. They live at the Jersey Shore with their golden retriever, Penny, and enjoy spending time with their extended families and exploring for the best food finds (especially Philadelphia’s food scene).
Dr. Kristianne loves what she does and treats every child like her own. She is very excited to meet you!
